We attended the "Retirement Planning" and the food was paid for by the host. As such, I hope we can still get the 15% discount on our own first purchase as we would love to come for brunch. Here's my email skyspirittepoet@gmail.com for the coupon. The food was incredible and as I have looked at your menu I know also reasonable for such an elaborate dinner. We loved the filet, the asparagus and the mashed potatoes were awesome. We took one of our deserts to go and had the other there while waiting on our check. I haven't checked the brunch prices but understand it is all menu based with a lot of choices in different price ranges. All in all we had a great time, had a few issues with the host going off the rails but not the restaurant's fault. But, I do have one question, which is interesting because it involves the sidewalk in front of Union Kitchen. Due to the "Jesus" presentation (which should not have been part of such an event as there were no doubt a variety of religious beliefs present) we are curious if you are a "Christian Based" restaurant which I think is probably not the case based on the variety of ethnic backgrounds associated with your servers, etc. but just wanted to ask as my boyfriend saw the fish on the sidewalk that is often considered a Christian Symbol. I also don't think restaurants are allowed to hire and fire employees based on their religious beliefs. Thanks so much, Sky

The shrimp was perfectly sweet & saucy as well as the crunch right along with it. I ordered the truffle fries and it was the perfect pairing!
Lobster, Crab, and Spinach Omelet
The Lobster, Crab, and Spinach Omelet is served perfectly with breakfast potatoes and a great Banana Bread Old Fashioned cocktail. Superb flavor and great service. You've got to try this meal.
Momma's Fried Chicken & Waffle

Beer Battered Fish & Chips review by Susan
The Beer Battered Fish & Chips dish was excellent. All was cooked perfectly and served as a generous portion. The included hushpuppies were tasty. Our SERVER JENNA was very attentive and friendly.

The food and service is awesome.
On-The-Border Chicken Fried Chicken
My family and I enjoyed the food and drinks on 2/27/26. However, our service from our server was poor. She spilled some of a drink on the table and did not have it cleaned up and did not bring us any additional napkins to wipe it ourselves. My daughter went to the restroom before she finished eating and the server quickly picked up her plate even though she was not finished. We did not say anything and I still gave a 20% tip, but felt that I should bring this to your attention because this should not happen.. Check #87, Guest count 3, Table 46, Server Mattie B.
Bang Bang Shrimp
The Bang Bang Shrimp at The Union Kitchen is consistently one of my favorites. The breading holds up well against the sauce, and the toasted sesame seeds and green onions on top add a nice touch. And then to top it all off the amazing coleslaw that is sitting on is perfection.
